In 1995, company founder, Melissa McGavick started training sales people to duplicate the processes she was using as a consistent top producer.  She fervently pursed training; traveling all over the US to learn from the best and most celebrated sales trainers and systems.  Her commitment to be able to consistently improve methodology and substance in training led her to study hundreds of top sales people and their methods. Each had their strengths for particular verticals and markets; however the set systems of the majority of sales training providers had gaps of relativity when applied outside of the originally intended audience. 

Melissa found that by using best practices of over 15 sales training programs, she has been able to customize training for industry, company and salesperson personality. 

The company’s core program: Winning Wisdom Workshops is a series of classes designed to develop selling skills in all areas of the sales process.  A partial list of topics includes: goal setting, cold calling, networking, presentation skills, negotiations, customer service and follow-up.

With 20 years of professional sales experience, Melissa is a recognized expert—working with individuals and organizations to develop successful sales numbers by becoming a better communicator.  She brings real world scenarios to life in the classroom and demonstrates how to apply classroom learning into real world situations.

She holds a degree in Communications and Media Studies and has completed hundreds of hours of professional development training in sales and sales leadership development, corporate business development, presentation skills, marketing, and career development.   Melissa is the Author of Decoding Nonverbal Communications in Sales Situations.

Melissa has served as President of Cranberry Area Toastmasters, Chairperson for Cranberry Women’s Business Network, Director for the Downtown Women’s Club Pittsburgh Chapter, and President of Women Entrepreneurs in Business, Vice President of the Board for Women's Business Network.  She has served on board of directors’ positions for Women’s Business Network, Cranberry Area Toastmasters, and Women Think P.I.N.K.  For WBN she has chaired Growth, Nomination Strategic Planning and Speakers Bureau Committees.  She holds a Certified Leader and Competent Communicator Bronze from Toastmasters International.
